Tank will be mixed reef but trying to go SPS dominant. Tank is a 187g peninsula tank 60x30x24. Current lighting is 3 Marsaqua with 2 60in ATI T5.

Ready to switch to something better so I just bought a Photon 50-V2+ and was going to keep the t5 for supplemental lighting. Now im considering either ditching the t5 and getting 2 lumen bars or adding another 50-V2+. What would be the best route in your opinion? Go with 2 50 V2 side by side or 1 50 V2 with 2 lumen bars?

The most affordable option would be just adding a Photon 50-V2+ in the middle of your T5s. 2 x Photon 50-V2+ would be the most powerful/controllable option, since you can have both lights dim simultaneously.

Im kinda looking at it from a long term perspective as well. Long term I think it would be cheaper to run 2 50 V2 vs having to change t5 bulbs every year. Right now im running 3 MarsAqua at 165w each and 2 t5 at 80w each. 2 50 V2 are coming in at 480 total max watts vs 655 max watts with my current set up. Not running my LEDs at full power but just comparing. Also looking to keep high end sps through the entire tank.
