Need some mortar for my aquascape. Its down to AquaForest and Marco mortar. Which is better?
which mortar brand?

I used both for my new build. I am more comfortable with marco but aquaforest is not bad either.

What kind of rocks are you using?
If using marco rocks or similar, you can just use some of the rock dust and thin CA glue to make your own mortar/joints that matches perfectly. there are lots of videos on the process like the below one.

It's live rock harvested from the ocean. Need something that can cure fast and underwater if needed.
I used Marco but on dry rock. Its holding up well. From what I've read it doesn't do well underwater but I have no first hand experience. Have no experience with any other brand of mortar.

gotcha. I've only use 2-part epoxy like seachem coral crete to attached to live rock under water. have never used any of the premade mortars. sorry!
