My no3 has been at 2-5ppm despite heavy feedings and im having struggles with certain zoas turning into tiny disc heads.

Not a lighting or flow issue.

Not a pest issue.

It has to be a nutrient issue with them not getting enough nitrogen

If I were to start lightly dripping diluted nitrate, which is better for zoas.... sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate? And why?

.

I'm using sodium nitrate. Its a stronger solution than potassium nitrate so less is needed to dose. Honestly im still using same batch i whipped up a year and half ago at this rate my 1lb bag will probably out live me.
I dont like the idea of raising potassium when I'm dosing nitrates and not testing for potassium.

I keep mine around 15ppm ans my Zoa are massive.
