So I am working on upgrading my tank and I want to go with a 48x30 tank
I don't know if u want to do two individual overflows in each corner or do a coast to coast one.
Here's my drawing of the two I'm thinking

Which one would u do and why

A coast to coast is by far a better over flow. The larger the area of your overflow the thinner the water level will be above it. That means a larger percentage of the water going in will be surface water. The surface water is where oils and organic waste collect so it's what you want going into your sump. Also the less water above your overflow will be less water going into your sump when your return pump turns off. It will also be quite do to a slow even flow versus water rushing through a small area
