So I am looking to finally pull the trigger on getting a Par Meter. Currently using AI's LED on both my tanks and I am tired of guessing. Anyone got any they have used and either liked or disliked?

I have the Seneye. I haven't used any other type, so I have nothing to really compare it to. It seems like a quality device and was fairly easy to use. It also doubles as a thermometer, ammonia, and PH tracker. For the laster two you need to buy replacement slides every 30 day, but all of that was an added bonus for me.

I'd start with a lux meter if you have any doubts about the money....if you get good usage out of it, you can always upgrade to a PAR meter later. A lux meter is only $10-$15 and is handy outside of reefing....so it's pretty much no loss to start with one even if you don't use it for the reef. (An LX-1010B lux meter is all I use, for what it's worth.)

let's see if tags are working...

I use an Apogee mq 200 still. Haven't used any other par meter but I would like to compare the mq 200 to the 500 as it was designed to give better readings with leds.
