which PH meter to use

have been using a pen style yellow ph meter to check the ph , using kalkwasser. seems like iv went through 3 of these because they turn to junk very easily. so what meter does everyone use ? thanks

I use a pinpoint for general testing outside of using the Apex.

i use a pinpoint to back up my controllers ph mod. its a good little unit, kind of touchy to calibrate.

I use a Hanna ec/ph/Tds meter. I use it for my hydroponics and it doubles as use for my tank. It measures ph and Tds so that I can check my ro/di water for total dissolved solids. Multi purpose.

i got the pinpoint meter in today. my old pen style was reading 8.3 ph after calibration. the pinpoint reads 8.01 ph after calibration. not surprised it was off, but didnt exspect that much.

i have looked at Hanna products before, didnt see that post before i ordered this meter but thank you for the reply CSJIII.
