wondering what works the best for phosphate removal. just set up a reactor and had some Seachem PhosGuard. A lot of people run GFO , i need to buy some more and was wondering what to use when it comes time to change it out. thanks

I switched from phosban to brs bulk gfo. Not the high cap one just the regular and it works just as good at half the price.

im going to run this seachem stuff for awhile and see how it does, if im unhappy with it i will check you the brs gfo. im happy to have the reactor going at this point, i tried setting up one i got off ebay and it was a pain. the 2 little fishes one i have now was a cake walk, and with the tube in the center i feel the sponges will stay in place better. thanks for all the replies

Brs gfo here as well. If u compare this product to phosban and others you get way more for the $$$ and works awesome

I've used Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos with good success a couple of times in the past when I had high phosphates.

i have a refugium with chaeto already, lights on timers running 8 hrs a day. tank has only 2 clowns and an urchin in 75g tank with 29g sump, so not real sure why having this issue with algae right now. feed once a day, sometimes 2, never a lot though.

thinking my cuc is not adequate. i put a dozens hermits in there, only see one or two every so often. i just ordered some rock from marco rocks. this rock looks great, it gave me a chance to redo the aquascape to allow more flow around the rock, i think that will help.

thanks for all the replys
