I need a powerhead for my 20 gallon. Help me choose!!!

1. My first choice is the jaebo OW10. Ive heard mixed reviewed and I am willing to gove it a shot for the price and wavemaker ability.

2. I want a Vortech mp40 but it will seriously put a dent in my bank account. Should I spend more for the better equipment?

3. Sicce voyager nano powerhead. Looks small and will probably do the job, but no lovemaking. I mean wavemaking :( (same thing)

Please let me know your experiences with each if you had.

I have a few jaebo products, my dislike is their almost
complete lack of customer service, not their fault they make aquarium items at low cost and ship them from china and they are still low cost. But I like to know that theres at least someone is there to answer an email.

Sicce make quality pumps, so does hydor if looking at ac. These things are tanks, they will last you 5x longer than most other pumps.

The jaebo products you have. Have they crapped out on you in a couple of months or have they been ok?

Had a small return crap out after a year.
Still using the dosing pump till the carx is up and running. It hasnt failed but has needed to be calibrated more often even changing heads.

Get a used Mp10wQD. An MP40 is way too much for a 20 gallon. I run 2 MP40s on a 40 breeder and max them both at 50% in anti sync. Also with Vortechs there’s no pesky intank wires to deal with which also means there’s no chance of shorting out.

Aqamai KPS!! 110.00 for a wireless fully controllable powerhead. I have 2 and they are too cool. They are the size of an egg, dc powered and probably the most versatile because of your options for direction. Please give them a look

Will look into this one. Thanks

What about a gyre? Icecap 1k is only about $130 it's fully adjustable, makes a ton of flow and could be used on a bigger tank down the road.

+1 for the gyre, I have 2 on my 25g lagoon and they are perfect, lots of flow but not too much in one place. I run them at 70% and they are up and down in each back corner so they really don’t look that bad
