well we are done with the noise that come from the mp40w,the problem is my tank is just like 6 feet away from the couch and we can hear the powerheads when i put them at full speed i like it to be quiet when watching a movie and the humm humm is just not for us anymore, maybe if the tank was in a different room or like in the back of the tank but thats not an option so what powerheads are you guys using i used koralias before i think they were #3and they were good, ive seen the new evos and im not imprest so which powerhead are good for a 6'x2'x2' lps and softies maybe something i can control with my reef keeper

TIA

i just picked up the new evos and running them on a wave maker and so far so good

Talking about tunzes which one u guys recommend me my tank is 6'x2'x2'
Return pump is 2x eheim 1262 i keep lps and softies

check out the new Tunzes 6095's a couple of those and you should be good. Tunze powerheads are great, high quality, great customer support, and unlike the vortechs you can turn them to point in a specific direction much like the koralias.

I have used MP40's, MP20's and MP10's all on my tanks, I have recently sold them and switched to the Tunze 6095 and I am VERY impressed with it!!
