I'm trying to reduce the number dosing pumps I need (so far I have 8, with 5 remaining for ZEOvit and Aquaforest products.) The manufacturer doesn't really provide this information, and forums for ZEOvit -- they don't know. While you may or may not know the composition of these chemicals, I'm wondering if you have a good guess as to whether any of them can be combined, as I trust your judgment.

For instance, I suspect all the amino acids plus vitamins might be combinable? That would save me 3 dosing pumps. Perhaps the macro elements and the micro elements can be combined too?

BOLD ones below are the ones that are currently configured to be auto dosed with the 5 available pumps, Orange ones are proposed ones to be combined.

Pohl’s Xtra Special
1.6 mL / day

Pohl’s Coral Vitalizer
2 drops per day

Zeovit Amino Acid HC
2 drops / day

Zeovit Amino Acid LPS
0.8 mL / day

ZEOspur Macro Elements
8 mL / week
Or: 1.1 mL / day

Zeovit Coral Booster
0.8 mL / day

Zeovit Flatworm Stop
1.6 mL / day

Sponge Power Concentrate
2-6 drops / day

Aquaforest Vitality Coral Vitamins

Aquaforest MicroE Elements
2 drops / day

Aquaforest Amino Mix
2 drops every other day after lights out

Aquaforest PRO NP Polymer (Carbon Source)
7.4 mL / day

-------

Pump 1: Aquaforest PRO NP Polymer (Carbon Source)

Pump 2: Amino Acids and Vitamins

Pump 3: Zeovit Coral Booster and Flatworm Stop

Pump 4: Macro and Micro Elements

Pump 5: Pohl's Xtra Special

Balling 3 part:

Pump 6: Component 1+

Pump 7: Component 2+

Pump 8: Component 3+

Why are you dosing multiple products that claim to do the same thing?

It’s hard to know what can mix without knowing exactly what is in it. It may be true that different amino acids can mix (but not guaranteed) and they can probably be put into an alkalinity additive. Maybe also calcium, but precipitation may be more likely there.

I have no idea what some of those are.

Carbon source can probably be put into an alk additive. Maybe calcium and also magnesium.

If any of these gets cloudy or bubbles the next few days after mixing, that likely means bacteria is growing in it (bad).

Thank you, Randy. For the bacteria, I wanted more biodiversity, while for the amino acids, I wanted more "coverage." Zeovit Amino Acid Concentrate is marketed for SPS, while the one labeled for LPS is of course for LPS. Since the Aquaforest product was inexpensive, I picked it up, figuring it would provide coverage for missing amino acids from Zeovit's products.
