Which Red Dragon pump for basement sump?

I'm using a Panworld 250ps currently. Its been setup and running continuously since 2008. The 390 watts hurt though and max flow is only 1890gph. I only use one return pump on my setups and want to T off for a manifold. I may look into the MRC Hydrotek pumps. They seem to get good reviews also with the updated seals over the Reeflos which always drip for me at the seals after 6-12 months.

Yeah I've used that one before. Trying to get away from the 300+ watts per hour pumps. My seals always dripped with Reeflo as well.

I have heard that about the seals. Fingers crossed as I haven’t had that problem

I’m running a Sicce SDC 9.0 from my basement up about 8-9ft and over 10-12ft. I only have a 80 gallon display but I only run the pump at 38% and it flows. If I turn it up to 45% it pushes water 4ft across my peninsula and out of the tank. I’m really happy with it. It’s been running for about a year now issue free. Plus you gotta love the built in notifications for cleaning, jams, or power outages.

Yeah those Sicce SDCs look slick. Good to know it can pump from a basement also.

Yeah one of the very few pressure rated DC pumps on the market. I was looking for a DC pump that was pressure rated without shelling out the money for a red dragon or abyzz when I found out that the SDC line is indeed pressure rated. Would 100% recommend them.
