I am in the market for a reef safe wrasse that eats nudis. I like my snails and hermits but I could gamble with a small coris. I like the white stripe possum. Input please as I believe I have a nudi issue with my zoas

Not sure if you are going to find one that will eat nudis, for that, I would prolly just get some Coral Rx and dip them. If you are looking for something that will help with flatworms and the like, a Melanurus or Christmas wrasse would be my suggestions.

Already dipped. I dip be for I add the to my tank with coral rx. I pulled a couple of frags out last night and dipped them because they had been acting funny and I am pretty sure there were 2 nudis in the tub. I am concerned about how many others may be in the tank

Coris do not stay small...let me just start with that. :/

A wrasse can help keep in check but if you dip everything in coral rx and still get them in your tank. You may need a new dip

Wrasses in the Genus Halichoeres are pretty good at eliminating coral pests, and are fairly reef safe, best bets are H. chrysus(yellow coris), biocellatus, and iridis, there are plenty of other species, but I trust these with my motile inverts over some of the other available Halichoeres species.

Who knows when or where the nudis came from. I have an idea but the doesn't help my situation. I didn't dip a hand full of frags because they were my first and I didn't know any better. The pests may have been in the tank when I bought it as a running set up. the small yellow coris would go in the DT for now then I would move it to my frag tank later once it started flipping rocks or ealting my inverts. Keep the input coming though. Thanks to the advice given.

I have had a yellow coris for about 8 months and it's one of my favorite fish. It never messes with rocks, inverts, or other fish. Just minds its own business and is constantly scouting the rock work and sand bed for goodies.
