Which return pump?

Falowing I'm looking for a pump setup for my 150g is their pros or cons on single or dual returns? And what would be a good flow rate for 150gs?

You didn't Include Reef Octopus VarioS DC pumps But thats my vote. I have used them since I have been in the hobby without fail. Now at some point any equipment will fail on you with that being said.

If i was doing redundant returns with no interface Verios would be the way to go. Hydros would be cool to.

I am thinking of getting 2 Sicce 5.5s for a similar size build. They are not DC, but I am not sure adjustable is needed for a return pump.
Sicce makes good pumps but they are load compared to the Varios which are very reliable as well.

I’m interested in this as well.... I have a 90 gallon, 1 return. Looking for a pump as SILENT as possible!

I understand this is not ideal for most people, but the Abyzz was the best thing i ever bought for my tank, It really is the one thing i dont worry about especially when it comes to the life support of the tank. If i had to choose your option i would go with the neptune products in this situation.. TBH id chose the Sicce 9.0 over the core and the maxspect products, i like a company that focuses on one product and does it well, and they been doing it well for a long time. the new red dragons would be a good option as well.

of your 2 choices, one is controllable by a 3rd party controller, and one is not. If you like your return completely separate from your controller to limit faults, then the maxspect might be better. If you like your return monitored and controlled by your apex, to detect faults or shut it down for a leak, then the COR might be better. One of these pumps should fit your personal philosophy better.
