Which RO membrane to use?

Hi all.

What are the Pro's and Con's of using a 50/75/100 GPD RO membrane?

Obviously you will get more water quicker from the bigger flow rate membranes, and probably less waste but they will then be standing for longer and get dirtier.

Im getting a 500L tank and wondering which membrane to buy for the ATO.

Am i missing something?

The rejection rate may go slightly down with higher flow membranes thus using up more of your DI resin. 75gpd is the minimum I would get in your case. Also depends on how much evaporation etc.

I went to SpectraPure 90 gpd on two different RODI systems and have been very satisfied with performance. DI resin holds up very well.
I cannot recall the reefer on here off the bat, but he is an expert on SpetraPure and water filtration. I’ll see if I can dig up the name, haven’t seen him on here lately.
