I keep mine in the bedroom, livingroom, and kitchen. Thankfully, it stays out of the bathroom! Haha I live in a studio and have a fish corner.

This was where I set the tank up in my first house. Then I moved it to the basement and growth was much better.
I have since moved and now have a dedicated tank room/office.

I still live at home (I'm a student in college), so I started my tank in my bedroom because that's where I spent most of my time. My tank was a bit loud at the beginning which drove me crazy, so I needed to fix that. But moving a tank is pretty difficult, so I decided to move my bed to a spare room because that was easier. So my tank is kinda in my bedroom, but I don't sleep there anymore haha. I guess I could say my tank is in my office now?

Highschool/college student living at home. New tank 40g breeder is in my room at the end of my bed and right next to my desk. Perfect views all day long. I scaped it to get a great view from the front but also a good side profile as I spend a lot of time at my desk with online school! Posting pics of both views
