Which salt? Help me make up my mind

Ok so I m about to purchase salt for the year and I m down to two options.
1) Aquaforest reef salt $69 box
2) h2oceans $75 a pail
What do u guys think is the better salt?

I have no experience with either of those... but i am curious to why you've narrowed it down to those two?

well mainly because they both fit into my budget LOL and also because I've heard good things about both brands. I am currently using reef crystals but I am finding it extremely low on magnesium. I am dosing over 120 mills a day of magnesium and I am hoping that switching to assault that has a higher magnesium content may alleviate this issue

I just started with the AF Reef. It mixes more quickly, but that is all I can say over IO Reef Crystals at this point.

I've been an Aquaforest user for the past seven months. I use the probiotic salt , the np pro, pro bio s, components+ 1,2,3. I also use the additives Amino mix,Build,Vitality,Energy.

IMHO the entire program along with the salts are simply top shelf. Very good results!

I've had some really great success growing coral.

I would go with the AF just because it is Fully Synthetic, so it should have a much purer base to it.

Ive been using seachems salinity. I cant complain. It is a synthetic salt as well and the last 6 buckets had consistent parameters. I have been seeing a lot of complaints on AF lately.

Hey if I lived in the States I would have boxes of the HW salt. Can't get it in Canada. That Salt was designed right from the go to be of Laboratory standard. I also use Salinity and like it very much 6.5 to 7 cups makes me about 15 gal. how many can say the same, that are not using Salinity. I do not even check anymore I just add it and go. But you do have to mix it properly and many have a hard time with that so they tend not to like it or say the specs are way off.

D2D H2Ocean Only salt I've used. For my nano, my parameters stay good with WC alone, no dosing.
