Which salt shall I pick?

So, I've been looking at purchasing the 200 gallon box of aquarium salt by Instant Ocean called "Reef Crystals" and I have been wondering what you guys think about the product. I've used LFS water with high amounts of success for the last 4 months or so.

What do you guys think on reef crystals? Safe product?

Livestock: Flame Scallop, Red Macroalgae, Radioactive Green/Vietnam zoanthids, pair of clownfish, 4 astrea snails, featherduster(large) green star polyp, toadstool, tuxedo urchin, 1 turbo snail, 10 hermits.

Lot's of Folks use reef crysal salt. It really depends on what Alk & Ca levels you want. I understand some like really high alk levels . Also what's available local. Will you have to order?

I used reef crystals initially for 1.5 years then I slowly switched to the Live Aquaria brand --- Main initial reason is that the 200-gallon boxes for both these brands are in my price range with free shipping from Live Aquaria or Fosters and Smith. I like the live aquaria brand. It has been stable for me over the past 6 months. NOTE: packaging of the LiveAquaria 200 gallon sucks in that its all in one giant sealed bag...so I would move it to a sealed container after opening --- I did this for Reef Crystals as well so it didn't change my workflow. But I did like that Reef Crystals came in separately sealed smaller bags.

Yeah, I will have to order. And I'm too young to just drive to my LFS, so i'm more limited.

The regular instant ocean would be fine for the livestock you have.

I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the big name brands, IMO.

I would suggest Aquaforest reef salt. Mixes up great in 10 minutes clear.

With the list provided of live stock you keep, especially any corals, you can go wrong with just plain old Instant Ocean. You really don't need the elevated elements in reef crystals for what you have. Jmtw.

Picking a salt that has parameters closest to your tank would probably be you best bet. That'll minimize any potential swings in parameters when you do your water changes.

I'm gonna throw in red sea blue bucket to the mix. All salts mentioned are great BTW.
