Which Salt?

I started using Reef Crystals since way back in 2008 without any issues in our SPS tank. Now that I set up our 3rd 300G tank, I went for Instant Ocean instead. I'd like to try if how it performs.

But you save time and money on supplementing and getting the system balanced after every water.
Some people save few $ on marine salt but spend $$$$$ on supplements additives just to get the system balanced again.

This is why I have always used Tropic Marin or Brightwell. Seems I have little to no dosing needs with Tropic Marin Pro

I do 60-70% waterchanges every week on a 12g LPS tank and a 29g softie & anemone tank. I need a salt that has perfect parameters since I don't dose or skim and also one that won't shock corals after such a large waterchange. I used to prefer ESV B-Ionic Seawater System but switched to HW Marinemix Reefer a bit over a year ago for lower phosphates and absolutely love it.

I like red sea Reef pro and salinity my self. used to use Reef crystals but sense I switched I noticed a big change in my tanks stability. I'm a true believer in them.

I use Seachem Reef salt for many years and very pleased with it but I think I'm going to switch since i can only find it on premium aquatics or Dr. Foster & smith another site says discontinued.

I am on my last bag of Reef Crystals. I am going to switch to Red Sea Coral Pro. My RC have been testing much lower than the advertised levels for months. The tests were done 24hrs after being heated and mixing, before the water change. 1.024 Mg-850-900 Ca-350-380 Kh-7-8

i use Tropic Marin Bio Actif , Well worth the money.
