Hello,
What is a good note/record app to help you keep up with my 3 tanks and their numbers?
Thank you,
Cathi

I just use a spreadsheet on the Microsoft Office app. It's simple to update and formulas can be used easily enough.

I’m using one on IOS called Aquarium Manager. I tried one called Aqua Log as well. Either work but if memory serves Aqua Logs free version is very basic and to get more than one tank or track multiple parameters requires a subscription. Spreadsheets work but I like the app. Just add your events and your parameters and it graphs things out, you can setup reminders, blah blah blah.

Thank you so very much. I will check it out

You know what’s funny is I used to use apps and stuff but what really worked for me was buying this $9 dry erase board and a pack of markers. I see what the tank is at which is a reminder for me when I open the cabinet to the sump. Genius. Old school.

Old school is good and it's in my face so I will not forget.
Thank you, Cathi

I use CalenGoo app. on my iPhone. Been using this app.for over ten years for everything. Never lost a single item. Vehicle Maintenance, Household Maintenance, Appointments, Aquarium etc. You can also set up in advance scheduled reminders for maintenance. One of the repeating reminders on my aquariums, is to check the fluid level, my Deep Cycle Battery. Set up a Google Account first, initially I did it backwards, and had to contact CalenGoo support to correct.

I've done that too but just wrote on the door! (Dry wipe pens did come off).

Printed tables on a clipboard for me (pen and paper).
Tried an app but just found it was more cumbersome to log stuff while testing so I was writing results down first anyway so it was just extra effort.

This is one of the items I use in the basement where one of my sumps is. I also have a note pad I write in but it is used to keep track of testing and dosing only. I do my testing at the kitchen table and just find it works best. I used to use a spread sheet in Google sheets but found paper and pen work better. It's probably an old guy thing. I still use a spread sheet for live stock added since it has a search feature which helps when I'm trying to remember when I bought a certain fish or coral. Bad think is it reminds me of my failures :crying-face:
