Which scape?

Which scape should I go with before putting my sand and water in?

I plan on adding a small piece of live rock on the smaller rock mass or maybe bridge down from the taller structure. Thanks!

Between the two, I would put the taller side towards whichever side has the most "stuff" near it, if that makes sense...

One of the things I have seen in Cube tanks is the "2 islands" look, which, if you rotated the two islands, you could create a little space between the two and make seperate "islands."

Just my two cents...

Something like this?

I dont have a whole lot of room to rotate as I have a nuvo 20 but I'm planning on putting either an icecap gyro 1k or mp10 on the right side if looking at the tank in the picture

I would try not to get too close to the glass on either side (to allow for cleaning the glass) but yes, something that causes an "island" effect.

Or, as you mentioned in your first post, perhaps creating a "bridge" between the two columns, to create a swim through area...

I just finished measuring and I have about 1.5 inches between the rock work and the glass. is that enough?

I agree with this, just pull the left in slightly.

How's this? I'm debating on knocking about an inch off of the far left overhang to give me a little more clearance. Thoughts?

If you add a small live rock. I like something like this placement off the front of the right structure. Just my opinion.

I agree, adding a little rock (not touching) but in front on the right would look good. Overall I think the last setup is pretty good

Looks good! Leaves plenty of room in your sand bed for lower light corals. You could always throw a piece or two of live rock into the back chamber of the tank to cycle with the rest and pull it out later if you want to add a piece to go more vertical on one of your rocks or put it in the sand bed to get coral off the sand. Either way, it looks good!
