Which Size Return

Hey guys I ave a question. I have a 180 gallon marineland tank brand spanking new. I am getting ready to purchase a return pump within the next few days. What size return would I need for a 180
with no more than 5 feet of head way? I was looking at the Ecotech Vectra S2 1400gpg. What would you guys choose? let me know thanks. I ask because after plumbing 5ft I need to have atleast 1000 gph. That would give me 5 times turnover from the pump. Thanks.

I recommend 10x turnover

Get an over sized dc pump and scale it back a bit.
5 times turn over sounds fine (you'll obviously need more in the DT) but it's always worth having a little more of less power.

i plan on doing a mixed reef. So the Ecotech M2 2000 gph would be a good buy then. I could scale it back to my needs.

The Vectra M1 or M2 would be a good fit.
I'm in the 5x camp.
