Which skimmer do you guys recommend for a 329-gallon FOWLR tank?

The Regal 300INT Protein Skimmer with VarioS-6S Controllable Pump - Reef Octopus
or

Out of those two, most likely the Reef Octopus.

It's a DC - VarioS so you could dial in the speed, quiet, and cleaning the pump without breaking down the entire skimmer.

That B12 has some great reviews too.

Both seem to like about an 8" water line-height.

The B12 is rated for over 1,000 gallons, you may not be able to dial it in, too big.

Might want to look at the B9 or B10, if you go with a B-Magus.

So a b-magus came with my used tank...it actually works really well. I was going to 'upgrade' to a RO but I don't find the need now. I'd say both will work well, choose the best option of features/cost and go with that.

No, I haven't heard of those.

Ok big fan club on these, especially on larger tanks like yours, it is one of the skimmers I am looking at for my 220.
