Which snapper?

If you had the choice between a red snapper or blue line snapper. Which one would you choose and why?

Given that red snapper hits 24” and the blue stripe hits 10” (on average), definitely the blue stripe.

Is that supposed to be large? That’s not nearly big enough for either fish. As stated before, these fish do not belong in aquariums.

Not sure which fish to choose for an aquarium but this thread brought back memories off going with my friend to his grandma's who was from dominica and used to have red snapper fish,rice and peas ( never understood this as was rice and kidney beans ha ha) dumplings, goat curry and loads off other delicious carribean food.
Ummmm that's it I'm going get dressed and go local carribean take away and order goat curry,rice and peas ,dumpling and whatever takes my fancy as not had in ages ,thanks @monkeyCmonkeyDo as now going have a yummy yummy supper ha ha.
As for which fish for your tank ,sorry don't know ^_^

I had a stuffed flounder sustain on a 8” plate until after dinner
The nice thing about them is you don’t have to worry about feeding or water parameters !!

This is a pet. I currently have a 8-10" sabre squirrelfish. A 7-8" bristletooth tang. And a 5" purple tang and vlamingii tang. Some medium fish and some small. The small being a birdwrasse and cherub angel. A domino damsel and golden damsel too. Which the blueline snapper might make a snack of.
The toadfish hasn't yet.

The blueline and pilot fish are $100 too ea. Seems an outrageous price.
