Which tang would be more beneficial

I've got a 125 gallon mixed reef and I would like to get another tang. I would really like to get two more tangs but I think I'm already near my limit as far as fish go, especially large fish... So the two tangs I'm considering are red sea Desjardins tang and or a blonde naso. I know these fish will easily out grow my tank but I feel when they out grow my tank I will likely be in a position to purchase a home where I will be able to build a nice large system and dedicated support room. Any way I really like the Desjardins tang due to it's attack on bubble algae and it's beauty. And honestly I don't know much about the blonde naso other than it's gorgeous and also eats some types if nuisance algae. Any thoughts and opinions would be great, thanks. P.s. my current tangs consist of a yellow and a kole tang.

Desjardins Tang. Im not aware that those eat Bubble Algae, but I pick it because it won't outgrow your tank, whereas the Naso certainly will.

A buddy of mine has a 10-12" Desjardins tang that it's easily 8" tall. Hee would dwarf my tank lol.

I would argue the opposite and urge you not to get either. These two are very quick growing tangs and 125 is much to small for either even for a short time in my opinion. I would hold off till you get things setup and are able to have atleast a 6" 180+ tank

Yes they are fast growing. I've just been seeing bubble algae lately and wouldn't mind some natural help

Look at some of the rabbitfish, they all do a great job with bubble algae. My bicolor foxfaces are ideal citizens in my reef too! Plus stay a bit smaller then the naso/sailfins.

Any more thoughts on the mimic ebli tang? I read that they are pretty aggressive.

my experience with desjardini was that it was not super fast growing, very hardy, and mainly peaceful with other fish.

Was he fed well daily, shrimp/seaweed? My desjardini went from about 3.5 inches when I got him to over 7" in just over 6 months... Defiantly a hardy fish tho.

A friend of mine has a 10 year-old Desjardins that's around 10"-12". I think he would be ok for a while for me but I know he will easily out grow my current tank. There are so many color variants of the mimic ebli tang I'm unsure If I would get an attractive one
