I am wanting to raise phosphate some but not nitrate as much. Would you feed frozen of pellets?

What's your current readings for NO3 and PO4? I had that problem once.....for about the first 2 months of my tank. :D

No3 is 10ppm and I get 0 po4 on Hanna phosphorous checker. Tank generally runs at 5ppm no3 but lately I have been feeding a lot of unrinsed frozen brine shrimp to get a po4 reading but my nitrate went up and still no reading for po4.

I want to try and do it the natural way first before getting the phosphorus dosing.

I tried reading that before posting this thread but I didn't know 99% of the items listed in that article. I seen somewhere it said said food with bones has tons of phosphate and I believe the pellets has fish meal, so i asssume it has more phosphate. I wanted to make this thread and people's experience with what have them the high phosphate on their tank, frozen or pellets.

I used phytofeast and it worked pretty well for me... Now i gotta bring it down haha
