Looks like a Blue Spot WG
yellow watchman goby or blue spotted goby (which is a variety of the yellow). They both have blue spots. But the blue spotted has a bit of orange hue which then turns olive.
They are all yellow prawn gobies - Cryptocentrus cinctus

Guess you were right. I’ll check as it adapts if it turn more yellow as at the store and in the tank it’s white. I’ll update. Take more pics as it comes out although my goby doesn’t have blue spots.
Looks like blue spots to me in your pic in the first post. Also, they are timid. Mine was pale at first before showing more yellow and hid in the back rock work. At one point I thought my emerald crab must of gotten to him, then out of the blue he peaked through an opening in the front which he now guards.
I wouldn't worry much about which variety you have. In a few weeks he'll keep you entertained as he stands watch, and he will also recognize you and after a while start getting excited during feeding time. Wait until he starts excavating and building sand hills in from of his burrow! If you can, they pair up with pistol shrimps for one of nature's coolest symbiotic relationships.
The pistol shrimp cannot see well, so it will keep in constant contact with the goby, all the while cleaning their burrow. If he goby sees somethings and starts to head in, the shrimp feels that and darts in the burrow with the goby. I
Tiger pistols do well with blue spots.Great. I’ll be keeping an eye for pistol shrimp at my lfs.
