Which Vortech Waterbox 180.5, 3/4 inch glass

Good afternoon,
I need some help on choosing the correct Vortechs for my coming soon 180.5. Display is 139 gallon with 3/4 inch glass. Will the mp40s stay in place or should I go with the mp60s?

For the 180, being soo long I would use the 60’s.

Agreed. Plus you won't have issue with glass thickness with the MP60's.

Would one on each end provide the flow and patterns needed for a mixed reef?

MP40 is rated up to 3/4” walls, and will work fine at that thickness. MP60 is a much larger pump, and a pair may be overkill on a 139 gallons display. I’m unfamiliar with the waterbox tanks, but isn’t the 180.5 actually 180 gallons? I ran MP40s on my six foot 180. Went to a mix of MP40 and 60 on a seven foot 265. Now all MP60 on my eight foot 450 (had to because it’s 1” walls).

Yes, the Waterbox 180.5 is 180 gallons total. 139 gallon display, 41 gallon sump.
