Which Wrasse is best for Pyramid snails

Here's my situation:

I really want to get a clam, the LFS has some beautiful ones, but I have the dreaded Pyramid snails that came in on something. I read Skinz78's thread where it said there are Wrasses that will eat them. Presently, the only wrasse I have is a full grown Blue Sided Wrasse (5"). I want to get another Wrasse that will help me eliminate these snails. I am afraid the Blue Sided will bully smaller wrasses so I will have to get one that is already a pretty good size. Which Wrasse would you recommend? I wouldn't even mind getting two if that would cut down on the possible bullying. Any recommendations will be appreciated very much!

I hear melanarus eat them. And they get to a pretty substantial size. But they may find other inverts quite tasty.

Needs a wrasse of the Halichoeres genus. But other snails and/or crabs will be on the menu as well.

Size doesn't necessarily matter. Using an acclimation box on the new guy is always wise when mixing wrasses however.

I wouldn't even mind getting two if that would cut down on the possible bullying.

But you also introduce the factor of the two new additions not getting along, although that's a lessor risk.

Even Skunk Cleaner Shrimp and Emerald Crab?

Larger shrimps should be safe; crabs are questionable but have a better chance if they're larger as well.

My Melanarus will go after the occassional snail (I have never seen it eat one, though it will charge it and then seems to leave it alone) but have never looked twice at my skunk cleaner shrimp. He is wellfed and that probably helps with showing aggression to snails and shrimps. I love the Melanarus and would buy one again if I lose mine for whatever reason.

I love the yellow coris wrasse, but i've had a melanarus go for them too.
