Do Rhomboid wrasse eventually develop the dark purple on their sides or do some just never develop their colors?

Yes they do. All of mine have developed better color now that I have 3.

So the one I listed a few post ago on divers den will develop the dark purple color?

They lose that brilliant yellow, but do get the darker coloration. the brilliant yellow appears when they flash.

I like the Orange Cleaner Wrasse and Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse, but I'm not sure if they are easily attainable or have been banned, I think one of my LFS said they "were" available from his Hawaiian source.

Wrasses are way cool to watch and I have seen multiple wrasses share the same tank. If there is enough space they should be fine. But I agree the sixline can be a bully...but they are so colorful and I like mine. I have a yellow corris wrasse in there too and want to add more in the near future. Most people over stock their tanks...I don't have enough in mine. LOL

I haven't got the Rhombois in yet. He will be here tomorrow. I can't wait. Eventually I want a Blue Striped Tamarin wrasse but right now I just dont have the $$$$$.

I actually just saw a Radiant Wrasse for the first time in my LFS, this will be the wrasse I am getting...

My Golden rhomboid wrasse came in yesterday but he is kind of acting funny. He moves real slow and is always facing up towards the lights. Is this a normal behavior for this fish?

Well update on the Rhomboid wrasse. He is dead after 1 day in the tank. I think he was just messed up from shipment, he was just never seemed right. So live aquaria is giving me store credit.
