I want to get one of these two zoas: Gatorade zoas or BEBB zoas. I’m leaning more torwards Gatorade but i love both of them. Anyone’s personal experience, pictures, etc would be highly appreciated as well.

Tell me what you think!!

In those pics i like the gatorade better. In real life i seem to always like the b***** better.
The BEBB's seems to have more color to them that would make them more vibrant under blue lights and the Gatorade’s seem to just have more rich colors. I really prefer a zoa tho that looks good under blue lights because that’s when I’m most around the tank so I may get one of the BEBB's.

$50
Here’s a link: https://cornbredcorals.com/products/cornbreds-blonde-hair-blue-eyed-*****-zoas
I’m going to see if my LFS can buy one of these for I can pick it up and save some money from shipping if I still get more positive feedback about the blondes.

EDIT: https://cornbredcorals.com/products/cornbreds-blonde-hair-blue-eyed-*****-zoas
If you want to go to that link you’re going to have to type BEBB in. R2R filters it

I prefer Gatorade’s personally. Bloodies morph so much you’re liable to end up with something not super attractive ime. I have Gatorade’s and the most iv ever seen them morph is yo get a little lighter colored depending on which of my tanks they are in

Could you show us a picture of yours?

My Gatorade’s are a dark, muted green with an orange skirt. Definitely not a very attractive zoa imo. Blondies also typically do not have that gorgeous coloration-they need extremely high light to look like the pic.

More accurate Gatorade and Blondies (I’m really sorry to bust that bubble though :( But I don’t want you to be disappointed after you make a decision)

Have you looked into tequila sunrise? They will look like the blondies pic with regular par and are very comparable in price :)

I highly recommend Zoanthids.com for photo references. They have almost every zoa morph listed in their index and their photos are very very realistic. If you want to buy from them, that’s your decision but their quality has been too notch

That’s interesting good to know. I have seen ones similar to the tequila sunrise and that one is pretty interesting as well. I’ll keep the zoanthids.com pictures in mind. Thanks.

I didn’t realize that zoanthids change colors so much. Sometimes for the worst it seems. May go with utter chaos.
I love my utter chaos. They can morph too but they turn into some super interesting morphs imo. Everything in my tank is closed for lights out but I have these pics. The first is my utter chaos non-morphed. The second is a strange little morph I got as a combo rag. Consensus on here was that they were morphed ucs. I was skeptical but I moved my real utter chaos to lower light and low and behold they spit out one of these dudes lol. Also pics of my Gatorades to come tomorrow. I literally just got them two weeks ago so there are none on this laptop.

Edit: My tag may be Zoa_Fanatic and I love them more than any other coral, but @footgal is the resident zoa expert here. When I need advice I go to her. Just FYi.

Edit 2: Just had a thought. If you like this color scheme maybe you would be interested in goblins on fire. Mine are absolutely beautiful and they stay bright and pretty in both my tanks no matter where I put them. Sample pic and pics of mine attached. I fragged these guys and high light, low light, high flow, low flow, they're always gorgeous.

Good choice, utter chaos often morph but never seem to lose their signature brightness. Definitely the most florescent zoa I have.

Higher light almost always means brighter, more colorful zoas and will sometimes bring out speckled patterns which is super cool. By "higher light". I have all my zoas on the bottom of my tank, which is around 21" below my AI Prime HD and they all display the "higher light" colorations, Im sorry but I do not know the par reading for that level.

I have a few zoos footgal like my cb white zombies that show more color when they are in low light. Is that because of the LEDS in my biocube? Thats the only one I have where low light means brighter.
