I have a 20+ head colony and it grows super fast. It started as one head like your photo. Just feed it a lot :) I used to spot feed it, but it's huge now and gets enough from broadcast feeding.

I keep it in medium light and flow

Mine gets moderate growth, but what do you feed it? I think I would like to try feeding it something.

I take it mine is just a baby then

It may be just me but it looks completely bleached in the photos. It should have a green base and mouth area and pale slate-colored "whiskers."

Oh and if it does help, I had my little Duncan for 2 months then one day he just started sprouting heads and now has the primary, and 6 "baby" heads growing out. (sorry but I couldn't find the edit button or would have added to my previous post"

I took the photos with a camera phone if that makes any difference?

They actually in person have greenish heads and grayish whiskers

Ahh ok. Yeah that happens with my phone too. Just a bit worries when I saw the pics. Haha

As long as he's eating (I used to hand feed my Duncan and still do sometimes) he'll be fine. He'll soon sprout new heads.

Does anyone know if you can cut the heads off these corals for faster fragging? or how to get them to grow out on rock? right now they are attached with gel glue, seem very healthy, but no sign of matting, same with my gsp. all tank params are on point.
