White algae, any ideas?

Finally got algae, don’t know what kind. Heard that it might be white because of a lack of chlorophyll, I just got my reef light today so that would make sense. Any ideas what kind of algae this is?

Really hard to tell in the pics. Possibly a bacterial bloom of some sort.
Can you blow it off the rocks? Is it slimy? Fuzzy?
When I use a turkey baster I can yank it off with a good amount of resistance, but I can’t blow it off. It feels fuzzy when I touch it.
 
I’m thinking I’ll pick up an emerald crab and a turbo snail next week, that should take care of it right?
 
If it's bacteria (which it doesn't sound like), snails and crabs won't help. If it's algae (fuzzy especially) a Turbo can definitely be beneficial.
 
Keep in mind, Turbos can get large. What size tank? Looks to be a 10ish gallon tank?
