White Algae film on rock

White film Algae on rock, tank is a year old. Everything is thriving sps and lps. The rock has this white film algae. I been running uv as well and water change every 15 days. Not sure what it is.....

Not really sure what it is but my first thoughts were could it be from low water flow? Does your CUC eat it?

I am currently dealing with the same thing, I wiped some off of a rock with Mr clean pad and it was orange. I recently had a bacterial bloom from a Lysol incident and sump/display was full of white floating mucus substance, when I removed it it was orange. Now it's growing on my rocks and looks exactly like what you have. Just thought it may help you fiquer out the problem. I'll be watchin this thread hopefully someone can help
