Had a tank crash a few months ago and went through an upgrade afterwards. Tank was officially filled on 4/2/18 so it's not 3 months old yet. I figured that I would use this thread to track some of the pieces that I'm happy with at the moment and their growth.

This thread is gonna be different since even though I use LEDs, I tend to run them quite a bit whiter than most folks. What you're gonna get is a side-by-side shot of the pieces in white lights and the second shot under blues.

Copps' 24k milli. One of the few sps pieces which is yellow.

Wild piece that has potential.

Wild that I really like due to its rather unique blue green coloration. Looks better in whites IMO.

This piece was acquired from a members only swap in April. It came in labeled as a crystal jade, but I can't find the reference to it anywhere.

JF Firecracker. Really shines in blues, but looks great in white as well.

Wild Aussie. Subtle colors looks better in whites.

Bought this piece for the orange polyps, which I think looks better in whites. Base colors looks like it's purple/blue.

ORA Pearlberry. Classic and one of my favorites.

RRC Pink Cadillac. One of the only survivors of the crash. Lost about 50% of the frag, but it's recovering well.

Wild piece that has a very pastel coloration. It's kept this very light coloration, even in the other frags that are still in the LFS tank.

I'll add others to this thread as I reacquire some of the lost pieces that I lost with the crash.

I think that first unknown frag you have is going to turn out real nice!

Did you lose your confetti?
Yeah, that piece is turning out nice so far. It's still has some coloring up to do from the looks of things and is encrusting well.

Yep, the confetti is one of the pieces that I lost from the collection among the others. Only two frags from the last tank survived. I plan on reacquiring the confetti, but it won't be until RAP, in October, when I make the trip down to SoCal.

Is the pearlberry mislabeled? Beautiful corals by the way.

Nope, it isn't mislabeled. It's from a colony that's at least 7 years old and the mother still has the ORA plug embedded in her skeleton. It's been slowly morphing in my tank. Here's what it originally looked like when it was delivered to me on 4/22/17.

It's sitting in a location that's pounded by both flow and light. The Maxspect Recurve reading at the spot is around 400 PAR under the fixture's sps setting (90% deep blue, 70% cool & warm white, 90% deep red, 70% cyan, 90% blue, 90% violet and deep blue). Flow-wise, it sits in between a couple of Jebao CP-40s where the flow crashes and battles each other. Both CPs sits relatively close to the outlet of the return, which are capped by Vivid Aquatics RFG and powered by the Neptune COR-20 pump.

PAR map from when I borrowed the PAR meter. The CPs aren't in the picture, whereas the Ecotechs are still in. Picture was taken before I upped the flow.

Ah now I see it. The colors looked way off so I wasn’t sure. It looked like it had yellow tips on my screen.

Tank is officially 3 months now since it first saw water. How a few of the above pieces have done in the meantime in the last 10 weeks.

RRC Pink Cadillac. 1 of the 2 pieces which survived the crash. Had two little nubs at one point, but had to move the rock to remove a couple of green chromis. Broke off the lower nub and never found it again.
