I'm seeking help to identify the white furry growth (first image below) and the red tufts (second image).

There are a few irregular shaped tufts of the white fuzz growing on the rock - each a centimeter or so across. The red tufts are ball shaped and smaller - roughly 1/4 inch. diameter.

The tank is pretty sparse at this point, I rebooted the tank around 6 months ago with a bit of live rock and a few small fish. I hadn't yet added substrate, more rock, or clean-up crew because I was fighting off dinos. They finally seemed gone and I was ready to rebuild tank until I noticed these white and red growths yesterday. They seem to have appeared quickly out of nowhere and don't look like anything I've had before, or any photos I could find in this forum. Water parameters are good -- including negligible nitrates and phosphate.

Any help to identify these, or advice on whether they are good or bad?

Thanks.

They're actually kind of pretty. I suspect they are some type of algae growth but I honestly don't know. Interested what others think.

Algae.

That red algae does not look good to me. Hopefully it is isolated on one rock?
