Had same issues with mine only ph & alk dropped low and phosphates and nitrates through the roof at that point couldnt do big enough and often enough to save everyone also how heavily stocked is your tank

I would look to hob filter and skimmer may not be removing enough nutrients and u may need to clean hob filter more often that could be a nitrate trap

You really dont have any livestock that would rearrange you tank
