White ball in tank

Can someone please provide some insight for me? I have a 30 gallon tank. Got home from work tonight and found a white ball in my reef tank. Doesn’t have the classic too that a pineapple sponge usually has making it look like SpongeBobs house. It’s more circular. I will try and post a photo for reference

It's likely a Tethys species sponge. They are capable of "walking" with the use of thin threads. I have them show up in all my tanks sooner or latter and consider them beneficial sponges.

I always leave them. You should expect more to show up. They may grow where there's some light but they don't like bright light.
