White banded possum wrasse

Planning to connect a 7 liter invert tank to my current set up (170 l)
I have a 1.5 inch possum wrasse - is it going to be ok for him to be in my invert tank, or is it too cruel?

I see no problem with that. I also have one for a few years. He never bothered anything and nothing ever bothered him. But that tank does seem small even though they are not long range swimmers

Just to be clear - i am talking about a 7 liter tank
On the other hand I have kept a betta in a same tank size, and the betta was larger..

How would you like to live in a bathroom. Just because this fish is laid back and cryptic, doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy cruising and hunting for pods and what not.

In this case that's not a fair analogy. In the wild Wetmorella species are very site oriented with a very limited territoty.

Besides pods would be provided by the 170l tank imo
and he'll feel safe among just sexy shrimp, glass shrimp, branching hammer, green clove polyps etc.
it's better then risking his life among bubble tips and potentially dangerous clowns...
and size wise the analogy is not anywhere near right too.

I've keep tanakas and yellow banded and couldn't imagine keeping them in less than 2 gallons. They were always on the move and very inquisitive.

if ill see him getting sad or bored, ill move him...
