Yep! Been using it in all my tanks, I haven’t gone back to sand.

ABS plastic... sand beige. Cheap, natural looking and easy to clean

The tank have foam fixed to the bottom? If not I would just paint the bottom. I like using a thick layer of plastidip. That or change the black foam for white.
