white bubble coral no longer white. answer/suggestions please

when i first bought my branching bubble coral it was pure white, ive had it for 6months or so now and well lets just say its no longer white. over the months its turned some reddish brownish color on the bubbles though there is still some white left. can anyone tell me why its not white anymore? ive tried googleing it but no luck. is algae growing on it? need better water flow?. sugesstions please.

Possibly it was white from being bleached. I havent been able to keep anything white that doesn't change to something else.

water levels are all within limits. sometimes my ph gets a little low though.

It is possible that your coral picked up zooxanthellae from surrounding corals. Do you have any corals the same color as your bubble is turning? Water parameter would be a nice addition to helping solve this problem. If you think it's algae, test your theory by taking something and blowing water over it. if something comes off then it may just be algae, by unlikely, can you post a photo? what condition is the coral in aside from color change?

It sounds like a phosphate and nitrate issue but if the parameters are good them it could just be happy and showing it. Light can sometime cause a color shift. Does it still seem ok. Does it send out its feeding tentacles at night. If so I dont think you have anything to worry about. But I'm not a hundred percent sure on this

the lighting is diff in these pics but u can see how they looked very white and clear in the begining and now they arent. slightly brownish, they actually look worse in person

it seems ok. but i could be wrong lol cause why else would the color change? its my fav piece of color and i loved how white it was before
