So my display tank has a case of the ich. So I removed all of my fish and placed them in a QT. I left the shrimp, crab and coral in the display tank and was going to run it fallow for 76 days while my fish go through quarantine. It’s been a full week now. And I’ve noticed these white bug specks all over my glass. Anyone know what they might be? I took a pic of the glass from an angle because it’s hard to get focus on the little critters. If you look on the right glass, you can see hundreds of these white specks.

I apologize for my ignorance. I’m new to this hobby. I’m assuming this is a good thing? Or should I be concerned?

If they're moving around they're most likely Copepods or Isopods. If they're stationary then they might be Spirorbid worms. All of which are harmless. (good)

No need to apologize only way to learn is to ask questions. It’s a good thing. You’re doing something right

Exactly. Our tank is fallow also due to ich and our pod population has boomed as there aren’t any fish there to eat them.
