White bugs on glass

Looks like mine. They move around a bit but are very tiny and hard to see. I got a picture with a macro lens. Here's what one of mine looks like up close. From what info I've found they are a type of pod. This one was a bigger one at around a mil

Your tiny white bugs are copepods. Copepods are tiny and hard to see where as amphipods and isopods are larger and easy to see.

+1 on pods.. I have a bunch of them in my tank and I mostly see them on uncleaned section of glass

I was actually responding to captainfishy's picture, not the OP. I'm sure the OPs are some sort of pod as well.

What happened to all the 'experts' that ssid they were "snail eggs"? Description was CLEARLY not snail eggs..

Glad we got an answer! :) google searched it as i have the same and happy with the outcome via this site :)

I have the same sort of thing, but have no idea what they are. Are they ok or does the tank need to be treated? The pictures of mine were taken with my phone and the close up were taken with a digital microscope. Thanks

Here is what’s in my tank. They started about a month ago and are now everywhere. These are not copeapods. They are stationary and are crusty. Almost like a Barnacle? Does anything eat them that’s reef safe?

I will post a pic of my frag tank. My frag tank is ALWAYS covered with these white dots. They are like stars in the sky. You cannot count them. They do not move but they are there. I scrape them off, they come back. They are snail eggs and some are tube worms.
Have they ever hatched? I have them and i want to know if im about to deel with a mass birthing of snails

I have the exact same bug, did you fix it or know what is it?
