I'm pretty sure I have white bugs on some of my sps. It definitely explains why my Bonsai has lost its PE the last few months and seemed to struggle after growing really well. Also why my month old red planet frag that encrusted well with great PE suddenly lost all its PE and seemed to stop growing.

Theyre little tiny whitish specs that are very round, scurry around on the flesh and seem to attach near the polyps. Who knows how long they've been in my system and what else they're effecting but in thinking treatment is needed.

I ordered some interceptor from canadapetcare.com, 3 chewable for large dogs. Tank is about 115 gallons total with sump.

What do I dose? I pill per dose crushed, 3 times a week apart? Leave it set for 12 hours and then add carbon back in?

Remove carbon obviously. Does the skimmer need to be off, I see a lot of people disconnect the venturi. Why is that? Can I just let it drain back to the sump but keep it connected like you do for chemiclean?

What ahould I expect? Urchins and snails seem to always do well. I can remove my micro hermits so they don't die, no way I can catch the hitchhiker emerald and porcelain crabs I have. Obviously all pods will die. What about worms like bristleworms and featherdusters? Any issues with nutrients after?

After the 3rd treatment I'll order a pack of stuff from IPSF with livesand, wondermud, amphipods, hermits, etc.

I’ve got these on some of my acros right now as well. I ordered some milbemax so I’m interested to see the answers here.

You can't remove and bayer dip? I've had them before but on incoming frags and bayer did remove them, coral rx did not even after multiple dips, bayer worked the first time..

These are in the display. They will just swarm the coral again after you place it back in if you dip.

Too many corals, some very well encrusted. Also theys probably just get reinfected when placee back in thr tank. No clue what kind of fallow would be needed and there's no way to fit all corals out without chiseling away the rocks to rubble.
