White Bumps on Hippo Tang

Hello, looking for some help on identifying these white bumps that appeared on our hippo tang. There's only 4 bumps and only on one side of the fish, and they really are more bump-like rather then the salt-look of Ich. The tang has been digging some areas under our rocks for a hideout, could it be abrasion? This is the only picture I have right now, but Ill try to get some better ones. Thanks

personally I find Jager to be the most reliable Western brand. But I use Asian brand heater that I bought there (comes with a thermostat and everything for 1/10 of what you pay here in the US).

I am curious here also. I had what I believe to be the same issue on a blue hippo that I have. Now a fellow reefer that lives close to me has the same after adding some fish.

Strange because it seems to be more like a bump like you described. Mine didn't start on the fins like most people have said ick starts. It never effected her as far as eating or flicking.

I wound up pulling mine and treating with copper and she is doing fine.

Curious to see what the community thinks about this.

Yes, try to get a clearer shot, under white light, and maybe even a short video .

Looks like inflammation from crypto or ich
The internal bumps I often see with copper sensitivity and is a skin reaction to copper and in many cases- tangs.

Looks to me like early stage ich. Ich only really looks like sprinkles of sand when it’s gotten really bad.
