White chunky spots on regal tang

Hello everyone I got a regal tang about a week ago and he has been doing fine. Today I noticed he has white chunky spots on him almost looks like salt build up or something. Is this possible ? It does not look like ich... My parameters are food .. Help!

From the looks of pics of ich it doesn't look like that. Can you give me any words of advice how to cure it ?

A pic would be better, so that we can ID it. Because if its just Lymphocystis, we can cure it by feeding him differently. But if it is indeed ich, we have a few routes to take.

Sounds like Ich to me.

U have a nori clip or some way of feeding it so u can get a good pic

lymphocystis looks like cauliflower, ich more like salt crystals if that helps. A pic or two would definitely help.

Just one spot? If its just one, don't do anything, it may b e a piece of sand. If it get to be a few, then I'd recommend Hyposalinity in a QT.
