Hi Experts, today I noticed a white cotton-like patch on my Hippo Tang. Never seen this on this or other fish in my tank before...

Hi P-Dub, The tang been eating well. I didn't dose any medication but, I can see that the white patch is slowly decreasing/reducing. Hope it will go away soon. Any comments on the parameters above? Thanks.

Hi P-Dub and all, wanted to close the loop that the white patch is totally gone. Any comments/suggestions after looking at my parameters levels above. Hope to achieve a condition to not to allow the problem to reaper. Thanks.

I have a similar size blue tang. After a couple days from when i moved him from my QT with copper to my DT he had a very similar patch but it was a lot bigger. But it just went away after a couple days. I started feeding more nori and variety of meaty and algae.

they seem fine but ur PH is a low. But I don't think that's the cause of it. Also is that 200 Litters- thats around 53 US gallons. That is very very small for a blue tang specially for one ur size... When did u get him?
Edit: lastly are you sure ur nitrates are at 0? thats is very low as well. When did u set up ur tank and what test kit are you using?
