White critters

I turned on my lights and saw a small white 6 leg creature walking quickly on my rocks. It hid under a mushroom and 3 hermit crabs look like they were hunting it. Any ideas?

Pics or it didn't happen.. Seriously without pictures there's no way for anyone to advise you but a wild guess would be amphipod.

Google pods. I believe that tiger pods are the largest so perhaps that is what you saw

Like everyone else is saying probably pods they're free food and will eat some algae and uneaten food.
