Hi all,

I just noticed today that the glass in my tank is littered with these little white critters. They're MAYBE 1mm in length. Any ideas on what they might be? They're literally on all four walls and move around. :( (Sorry for the horrible picture, they're so small it's hard to get the camera to focus)

Thank you in advance...

They look like pods to me! Very good!

OH! Even with my strongest cheaters, I can't really identify any distinguishing marks. ;Watching All my fish look healthy, all are eating and my parameters are spot on. I will do more research on the pods (sorry, still a bit of a salt newbie).

Thank you so much @kchristensen8064 for the fast response. My tank is new (2 months) so I am still a bit quick to panic. ;Nailbiting

I've got thousands of those in my tank, they always creep my family out but I think their kinda cool.

So much to learn! I am totally not bothered by them providing they're friend, not foe. I will continue researching and maybe get some stronger cheaters to try to ID them. ;) You guys are awesome with your feedback.. thank you!!!

I keep a magnifying glass near the tank, which happens to have a loupe-type high-powered lens in the handle. Within its focal distance, it's great for helping get a better look at smaller details.

~Bruce, whose cheaters aren't strong enough either
