White dancing worm ID

Found this in my 170 last night, 2 or 3 of em. I removed them to be safe...

Oh good lord that thing is creepy. I hope you had a nice visit down a long dark tunnel, aka the toilet. Just to be safe make sure you install locks on the toilet seat so they can’t swim back up and gobble someone up. Heebie jeebies so bad. This is why I watch kids movies all the time lol

Apparently the worms in the wild will do this as a mass spawning event and the water will literally be crawling with these things.

I saw a nova special how Jimmy & Rosalyn Carter were in Africa Helping eradicate these worms. Talk about gross & painful ! All they had to do was filter the water from lakes & rivers. Ford's worm looks like a plain ole white worm, but hey what do I know ! what really creeps me are the eunice worms !

There is a great nature show on Netflix that shows a mass spawning of these every year on some beach, all the locals come out with nets and scoop up the little white worms (which are only the reproductive parts of the worm) and eat them, it is a delicacy to them... Have you tasted yours yet?

I just found something similar in my tank. I knocked it off the glass and it did something similar. Dancing squirming swimming

When it attached to the glass I got this pic... No idea, completely white but pic it kinda looks like bristle worm

overall length 1.25". Your's look anything like this @4FordFamily ???
