White Dots Appearing on my Rock

Hey Guys,

I have these white dots or discs appearing in my rock currently and I just wanted to check and see if anyone knows what they are. I’m starting to get a lot of coralline right now but this looks a bit different than the coralline on my back wall. Attaching a couple pics I just took for reference

No, I don’t have that issue right now. They are white and chalky…. Sorry if the picture quality is poor.

These pics are under whites, I’m guessing somehow the blues are still on so I will have to figure that out. They are nearly perfect circles and flat.

Possibly nerite snail eggs. Hard to tell from pics, but they lay little pods with the eggs inside. White, round/oval and almost flat when looking at them.

I just got some of them from Reef Cleaners and the Nerites were in these exact areas. I wonder what there likelihood of survival is. Thanks

Edit: I posted before I saw that you bought nerites. That’s what they likely are.
I’ve had them hatch in brackish tanks. Never tried them in my reef.

I was thinking nerite eggs, but these seem bigger than what I’ve previously seen. If you had to guess, how wide are they? The nerite eggs I see in the bay where I live are only about 1/16” in diameter.

Pretty small, smaller than a pencil eraser head. I zoomed in to try and get a decent photo…obviously that was not the case lol
